Get Connected

Making Monday through saturday count.

We have plenty of ways to help you grow an authentic faith all week long. Consider joining a group and watch your faith flourish on a more personal level. We have a group for every age and stage!

Don’t be shy - jump right in! We have many opportunities to connect within our church! Check out our Events tab to join us for activities and events.

community groups

Our Sunday worship experience on its own does not provide enough connection to build deep community - relationships are hard to cultivate in a little over an hour, in a room full of hundreds of people. That's why Freshwater is big on groups - if you aren't in a group, you're missing half the picture.

Don’t walk alone.

A place where young adults can meet each other, do life together, hang out, learn about next life stages, learn about God, and have a place to have a community of fellow believers to help navigate the "Currents" of life!

We currently meet on Friday evenings from 7 - 9 PM. Join us in the upstairs youth room, we can’t wait to meet you!

Infants - 5th Grade

Relevant, Fun and Secure

Our kids' ministry serves kids from birth through sixth grade on the second floor. We offer a secure place for your kids to learn that God created them and He loves them!

5 things every kid needs

1. A Really big God!

A really big God they can trust, no matter what. Our curriculum helps show kids this truth.

2. Other believers

Kids need someone else who believes what they believe and a chance to connect with new friends who will help them grown in their faith.

3. Consistent messages

They need another voice saying the same things their parents say. We provide those consistent messages through trained leaders in Splash.

4. Wisdom and Training

We strive to help kids develop the ability to make wise choices based on God's word, shared in a way that makes sense to how kids view life and make decisions.

5. Nosy parents!

Kids need nosy parents who know where their kids are spiritually, so they can stay intentionally active in their spiritual growth.

Celebrate Recovery

Help for Every Hurt, Hang Up, and Habit

Celebrate Recovery was started in 1992 at Saddleback Church in California. John Baker, using the 12 Step Program basics of AA, created CR's Twelve Steps and their biblical comparisons. Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church later wrote the series, ”The Road To Recovery: Eight Principles Based on the Beatitudes,” which was integrated as a key part of the Celebrate Recovery Program.

The program has three main components: Large Group meetings, small group meetings called Open Shares, and small group Step Studies. In the weekly meeting, Large Group starts with worship, followed by either a lesson, based on the 12 Steps and 8 Principles, or a testimony. The gender-specific Open Shares follow, allowing participants to discuss the lesson and/or a struggle/victory from their life. Step Studies, also gender-specific, are held at a different time. These are an in-depth study of the program's 25 lessons, which allow participants to dig deeper into their life's hurts, hang-ups, and habits to find healing through the grace of Jesus Christ.

In the words of Rick Warren, the following features make Celebrate Recovery a unique program:
• Celebrate Recovery is based on God's Word, the Bible.
• Celebrate Recovery is forward-looking.
• Celebrate Recovery emphasizes personal responsibility.
• Celebrate Recovery emphasizes spiritual commitment to Jesus Christ.
• Celebrate Recovery utilizes the biblical truth that we need each other in order to grow spiritually and emotionally.
• Celebrate Recovery addresses all types of hurts, hang-ups, and habits.

No hurt is beyond healing
No hang-up is beyond hope
No habit is beyond help
Freedom is possible
