I'm so glad you are interested in possibly joining us this holiday season for the Advent Bible Study: 'Waiting For The Savior'. I've already jumped into this study and it's sooooo good! Here's a little excerpt from Week 1, Day 2:

"We wait twelve months, more specifically four weeks, to celebrate the birth of Jesus on Christmas morning, but the people of God who lived before His coming waited thousands of years from the first promise of Jesus to His birth in Bethlehem. Generations and generations of those who waited and yearned for a savior are represented in the names of the genealogy of Jesus" - pg 15

"The waiting for that first Christmas was long. At times, it likely seemed as if God has forgotten His promises and turned His back on His people, but when the time was just right, the light of Christ tore through the darkness." - pg 16
