Troy and his family moved to Paw Paw from Sawyer, Mich., in 2004, when he felt a call to plant a new church. With the help of 26 others on the launch team, Freshwater Community Church opened in October 2005. Troy and his wife, Carrie, have three children: Emily, Eli and Ruby. Troy is originally from Illinois, which explains his die-hard love for the Chicago Bears. Troy also enjoys hotdogs, cycling and art.
